This weekend we started to get the feel for Christmas. Tooele had it's annual Christmas Parade welcoming Santa into the valley. It was FREEZING but thankfully there was no snow. We met some friends on the route and packed our pockets with candy. Amber had no fear of the cars and would run right in front of them to pick up a piece of peppermint. I got my workout for sure.

That evening we decorated some gingerbread houses. I found this fantastic kit that actually had five separate houses in it; one for each of us. However, I didn't read the fine print to see that each house was only inches tall. It made the decorating difficult and Megan's A frame was an architect's nightmare.

Sunday we got a bunch of snow and the kids enjoyed playing in it before we headed to church.

After church, Megan got a hold of my camera and posed Amber with presents from under the tree. This is one of my faves. All of these activities have made the feeling of Christmas in our home!
Looks like you've been doing lots of fun Christmas time activities. Hope you have a wonderful holiday season!
